OUR DISCIPLESHIP PROCESS

A short overview of what discipleship looks like at MCC and why we believe every follower of Jesus is called to help make disciples.

DISCIPLESHIP AT MCC

MCC exists to help people become disciples of Jesus who make disciples. Faith is a journey, not a checklist. We walk this path together — from your first questions about faith all the way to being sent out on mission. EXPLORE what it means to follow Jesus. BRIDGE into baptism and belonging. SERVE using the gifts God gave you. LEARN through scripture, habits, and practical tools. Grow through DISCIPLE MAKING — one relationship at a time. And be publicly SENT through commissioning to live it out on mission. Wherever you're starting from, there's a place to step in.

And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men."
Matthew 4:19, ESV
EXPLORE

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28, ESV

BRIDGE

Cross the bridge from exploring to belonging. Make a decision to follow Jesus, mark it through baptism, and get connected to the people who will walk with you.

—2 Timothy 3:16–17, ESV

DISCIPLE MAKING

MCC is a church of disciples who make disciples. This is where following Jesus becomes multiplying — one relationship at a time.

"...and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also." — 2 Timothy 2:2, ESV

1:1

Find someone to disciple you — ideally these connections happen organically through relationships, but if you need help finding a disciple-maker, just ask.

Train

Disciple Maker training — be equipped to lead others. Learn to disciple the way Jesus did: walking closely, teaching faithfully, and sending out.

A disciple is someone who is following Jesus, being changed by Jesus, and committed to the mission of Jesus
