This year, MCC is partnering with congregations in Miamisburg to help bring Lifewise Academy to our city. 

Lifewise Academy is an opportunity for students to attend a Bible class during school hours. The 3 requirements are:

• The classroom cannot be on school property
• The students have parental approval to attend
• Lifewise must be privately funded

Many interesting results have been reported by school administrators about the impact attending Lifewise is making on students: 

• Attendance went up (especially, but not limited to, the day students attend the Academy)
• Grades went up 
• Disciplinary actions went down 
• Attitude went up 

While the information may surprise others, it should not surprise us that Jesus is making a difference in the lives of children who are learning about Him.

A steering committee is in place, and the work has begun to help this program launch in Miamisburg in 2024. There are several ways you can join us in supporting this organization: 

• Learn more about Lifewise. The Gospel IS the answer to every problem we face.
• Pray! Clearly there will be opposition to making God’s Word available to kids. Ask God to make a way.
• Sign the list to voice your support to bring this opportunity to our children. You can sign in a school district where you live, work, or worship.
• Participate in MCC’s Christmas Offering. 100% of this offering will go towards expenses of starting a LifeWise Academy right here in Miamisburg. You can give electronically at the link or by putting your offering in the black boxes in our Worship center in a Christmas Offering envelope.
