More Remodel Updates
Look at What’s Been Accomplished So Far!
Because of your prayers, giving, and dedication:
- Our first 4 months have been spent getting the zoning changed for ministry use, receiving building drawings from our architect and building permits from the city, as well as maintenance and demolition work for 37 Lawrence.
- 37 Lawrence and Threads have been painted to give a cohesive feel to our campus and giving new life to these spaces.
- The overgrown bushes near the North Parking Lot by Lawrence have been cleared, opening up visibility and creating space for more welcoming landscaping at this entrance.
- Brand new windows have been installed in 37 Lawrence, Room 231, and our KidZone worship space, bringing extra light into these spaces.
- The interior demolition of 37 Lawrence is nearly complete - with over 8,000 pounds of debris removed and the old rooftop HVAC unit scrapped.
- New HVAC work has officially begun, ensuring comfort for future ministry use.
- A new roof is currently in progress and expected to be completed by mid May
-The 37 Lawrence parking lot has been sealed and striped, ready to welcome guests and volunteers.
- A brand-new concrete sidewalk now connects our main campus to 37 Lawrence, making it easier than ever to move between our buildings.
What’s Coming Soon!
We’re not done yet— the best is still ahead. Here’s a glimpse of what’s next:
- New doors and lobby windows will soon enhance our entrances at Door 3.
- Additional windows are being installed in the upper offices and nursery to help
brighten up those spaces
- Our A/V vendor has been awarded the contract to both the KidZone spaces and 37 Lawrence, ensuring excellence in how we serve families, students, and all who use these spaces.
- We have recently received the engineered drawings for 37 Lawrence and next week (May 7-10), we are hosting an open house for contractors to walk through and submit bids, another big step forward. Contractors will have 2 weeks to submit those bids which will allow us to begin selecting the contractors and scheduling the work to be done.
Immeasurably More is a 25-month journey of sacrificial giving designed to expand our ministry to the next generations. By making this commitment together, MCC will be able to renovate our Nursery through 5th grade areas in our main building plus remodel our recently purchased 37 Lawrence building whose primary use will be to house our growing Student Ministry.

As you learn more about the campaign over the next few months, please know that the most important thing you can do is pray!
Pray for those leading the campaign, pray for those working to finalize detailed plans, pray for unity and vision, and pray for how God may want to use you.
Pray that God will open each of our hearts and minds to how He can do IMMEASURABLY MORE.
We also ask that you pray about making a financial commitment above your regular giving.

About The Campaign
Because we believe that God has called us to love Him, love people, and Live on His Mission of helping people of all generations become disciples of Jesus. To continue to reach more children and students, we need to expand our NextGen ministry areas.
We purchased 37 Lawrence Ave with congregational approval and now it needs remodeled. This new ministry space will primarily house our Student Ministry, but also other envision it providing additional space for other ministry opportunities such as marriage enrichment seminars, young adult gatherings, women/men’s ministry events, and senior adult gatherings. We also need to renovate our Nursery through 5th grade classrooms and hallways to accommodate our growing number of children. The Immeasurably More campaign will provide the funds for these renovations.
During our Immeasurably More campaign (October-November), you and your family will be asked to prayerfully make an “above and beyond” faith and financial commitment for the next 25 months.

MCC started by meeting in Kinder School. It would be fair to say that since those 50 people met for the first time on May 9, 1954, God has done immeasurably more than they could have hoped or imagined!
And He has continued to do that through us today. Paul reminds us that it is according to HIS POWER AT WORK WITHIN US that God does immeasurably more than our wildest dreams in our individual lives and in the life of our church family.
