As we head toward Easter as a community we will spend a month preparing our hearts and our community to celebrate what Christ has done for us. Below in a picture of how we will be preparing to celebrate the resurrection, and the details so that you can get involved.

Night of Worship

Sunday night, March 24th from 6:00-7:00 we are gathering for a night of worship and prayer as we head toward Easter. Who are you bringing with you?

Great Day of Service

Saturday, April 6 from 12:00-5:00 pm

You may not be aware, but MCC does not have a janitorial service for cleaning. There are a few things we have contracted out, but most of our facility is cared for by volunteers. Kelly DeWine has been MCC’s Facility Manager since 2011. He leads a wonderful group of volunteers that keep over 55,000 square feet clean and in good repair.

A long, cold winter is hard on a building, and we want to make sure our building and grounds are ready for spring and Easter! We are planning a Great Day of Service to invite you, your family and maybe even a friend to help get the job done!

There are several projects inside and out (weather permitting) to keep a bunch of people busy. We will have signups posted by March 17 with details and times. The day will start at noon and conclude at 5pm (a couple of projects will start a little earlier). That doesn’t mean your task will take 5 hours!

This will be a wonderful opportunity to meet new people, accomplish a ton of work and have our facility ready for guests.

Easter Egg Hunt

APRIL 13TH AT 11:00 AM

MCC Kids' Easter Egg Hunt kicks off in the Worship Center with games, worship, crafts, the Easter Bunny, and an outdoor Easter Egg Hunt extravaganza for kids ages infant through 4th grade.

After kids have filled their baskets, every family will be invited to participate in a fun Family Scavenger Hunt to experience the story of Jesus and the good news of Easter! (This scavenger hunt will take place after the egg hunt at the family's leisure and will not necessarily take place on MCC property.) Its goal is to help families know and experience the story of Jesus by leading them to read scripture and search for clues in the community as a family. After families find a clue in the scavenger hunt, they will take a selfie together to document their clue and their family experience.

Fun, faith-filled memories, plus seven new family pictures! Completed Family Scavenger Hunts will be returned to MCC on April 21 to be entered in a fantastic prize for one awesome family! You won't want to miss this fun Easter event packed with faith-filled memories to cherish for a lifetime!

Service Times

This year we will have 3 identical Easter Services.

  • Saturday, April 20 at 7:00 pm
  • Sunday, April 21 at 9:00 am
  • Sunday, April 21 at 11:00 am

Everyone is welcome, and we will have incredible children's programming available for each of our Easter Services.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him

-JOHN 3:16-17
