We love to hear about God at work. Whether you are making Jesus the Lord of your life, and you want to be baptized. Or, you just witnessed God in your life, please share your story with us. Our changed lives are the best evidence of God at work in the world. We know that the way God has worked in our life can inspire hope in someone else's. Share your story here:
We know that faith is a journey, not a destination. We will meet people where they are and not where they wish they were. And we will risk getting our hands messy to help them begin and build a relationship with Jesus. Because faith is a journey we want to help you take your next steps. It can be hard to know what to do next as you are pursuing Jesus. We want to make it simple for any person to go from first time visitor to becoming a deeply known member of our community. We have a simple path for everyone to follow which includes a couple of classes that are outlined below, and moves people toward both group life and investment in the church through serving.
Take a look at the outline of the steps below. If you have any questions about what your next step is email firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more.
Gathering together to learn and grow in community has always been a key element from the church. We see in Acts 2 the very first thing the believers did after they repented and were baptized was form small gatherings to learn the teachings of this new faith, pray together and celebrate what God was doing. They gathered faithfully, and constantly added to their number those that were being saved. So we see, right from the inception of the New Testament Church, not just a commitment to attend regularly, but also a commitment to invite others into the community.
First Step is just that, your first step in discipleship at MCC. Whether you are new to church in general, or just new to MCC this conversation is a place for you. The discussion is led every other month by Lead Pastor Mike Tuttle and is a great chance to connect with people at the church. During our time together you will hear a bit about the history of MCC and the things we hold as our core beliefs and values.
Upcoming Dates for First Step:

Starting in church can be difficult. There are lots of questions; What does it mean to be rooted in scripture, in the church, in discipleship? Who is God? Where is God in suffering? How Does God speak?
If you’ve ever had these questions I want to invite you to a 10 week group study called Rooted. Rooted walks through the big questions we all have from time to time.
Our next Rooted study starts in the Summer. Stay tuned.
God wants a personal relationship with you. The more you know Him, the better life can be. The best way to connect with God is to pray and read the Bible every day.
We believe that every follower of Jesus should follow His example of Baptism (Matthew . As a first act of obedience in submitting to Jesus, trusting him with salvation and living the changed life that he has called us to everyone who professes that Jesus is Lord should make that public confession through baptism.
If you have questions about baptism we would love to answer them. Simply email email@example.com.
Small groups of people dedicated to living out God’s word and loving others will change the world. This is nothing new, but it is vital. There are a wide variety of groups available at MCC—groups that meet in homes and on various days and times. We would love to get you connected to the group that is right for you.
We believe that discipleship can happen in our ministry teams, and therefore a crucial step in everyone's discipleship journey is to contribute in a significant way to the work of the church.
We believe everyone has a gift that can be used to build God's kingdom on earth. Wee would love to help you connect your gift with the work of the church. If you aren't sure where to serve or what your gift may be simply fill out this form and we will be in touch.
Part of living the changed life that Jesus offers us is living trusting that everything we have is a gift from God. So, we give generously of our time and money toward the work of the kingdom on earth. We believe that our time and money are most valuable in God's hands, so we all give trusting that God can multiply our offering for His glory.
